MPA had an awesome showing at the 2012 WGI Percussion World Championships on April 19-21 in Dayton, Ohio.

Congratulations to finalists Irondale High School (9th place in Scholastic A finals), River City Rhythm (11th place in Independent Open finals and winners of the Fans' Favorite Award for their class!) and Minnesota Brass Indoor (silver medal in Independent Open finals)!

And congratulations to South St. Paul High School, Eden Prairie High School (advanced to semi-finals their first year in WGI competition!), St. Cloud All-City Drumline, Rochester-Lourdes High School and Groove Pursuit for putting on great performances to finish out their seasons by representing MPA well.

The 2012 Solo and Ensemble Contest was a huge success as almost 30 MPA performers (and one instructor!) exhibited their talents March 16 at Champlin Park High School!
